Making Lucha Libre Latinx Theatre

UWM’s Center for Latin American and Caribbean Studies (CLACS) is hosting UWM associate professor Alvaro Saar Rios to speak about his journey from Texican youth to the U.S. Army to nationally produced playwright. This talk is a part of our LACUSL Speaker Series, designed to provide a welcoming space for students to learn about the rich variety of topics you can study in our interdisciplinary major in Latin American, Caribbean and U.S. Latinx Studies. Co-sponsored by the Military and Veterans Resource Center, free and open to the public, at UWM’s American Geographical Society Library (third floor, east wing).
