About Monica Wendel
Monica Wendel is a nationally recognized scholar and thought leader in social and health equity, structural determinants of health, and community engagement health. Her research has focused on systems change and social justice approaches to target root causes of health inequities, including targeting structural violence experienced by Black youth as a root cause of interpersonal and community violence.
