How We're Moving Forward

We're excited about seeing our students on campus this fall. Some things will be different as we work to provide instruction and student activities in a safe fashion. Here's what you can expect:

  • Extensive and frequent cleaning
  • A mix of online and face-to-face instruction
  • Single and double rooms available in residence halls
  • Mobile ordering and contactless service in campus dining
  • Masks worn in campus buildings and many outdoor areas
  • Classrooms set up for social distancing
  • In-person student activities, but few large gatherings
  • Designated doors for entering and exiting buildings, limited elevator use
  • Some services provided remotely, and meetings held online
  • Strict enforcement of health and behavioral guidelines

Fall classes will be offered online, in person and with hybrid instruction that includes both face-to-face and remote learning. Our goal is to give you flexibility in choosing classes that meet your educational needs and also allay health concerns. We know community is a vital part of the college experience, so on-campus housing, support services and student activities will be available. We want you to have a great year.

More Information

Employees who have been working remotely will begin returning to campus in June for high-priority research activities and in July to prepare for the fall semester. Your health is important, so classrooms, offices and other spaces are being modified to encourage social distancing and, where needed, provide plexiglass barriers. It's important that we all work together to promote safety and support our students.
