The North Central Council of Latin Americanists (NCCLA) announces that Call for Papers for its 2016 interdisciplinary conference: Ties That Bind: Latin American Studies in a Global World. The conference will be held November 4-5, 2016 at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse. Proposals must be submitted by July 10, 2016. A limited number of student travel grants are available, and conference presenters are eligible for NCCLA Research and Teaching Awards.
