CORPOREAL MATERIALISM: A Brief History (1963-1974) of Bodies from the Queer Underground — FREE!
October 16, 2016 @ 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM
A Brief History (1963-1974) of Bodies from the Queer Underground
Screening at Jan Serr Studio, Kenilworth Square East 620, 1915 E. Kenilworth Pl.
Tonight’s program showcases a collection of queer experimental works that are defined by bodies. The bodies depicted bravely transcend their historical, societal, cultural, and carnal constructs—endeavors that are nothing short of revolutionary. The works in this program unabashedly celebrate flesh, and reveal the body’s unceasing state of metamorphosis.
