She taught previously at the University of Vienna, The Ohio State University, and the University of G\u00f6ttingen (Germany<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>). She earned her PhD in Germanic Languages and Literatures from the University of Pennsylvania in 2017. Her book,&nbsp;<em>It Could Lead to Dancing: Mixed-Sex Dancing and Jewish Modernity,&nbsp;<\/em>was published by Stanford University Press in 2021. She is currently translating Tea Arciszewska\u2019s modernist play about the Holocaust&nbsp;<em>Miryeml<\/em>(1958), supported by a 2020-21 Yiddish Book Center Translation Fellowship, and developing a project about women who wrote plays in Yiddish. Her articles have appeared in&nbsp;<em>Jewish Social Studies<\/em>,&nbsp;<em>Dance Chronicle<\/em>,&nbsp;<em>In geveb: A Journal of Yiddish Studies,&nbsp;<\/em>and&nbsp;<em>Austrian Studies<\/em>.
