Morton Thing
Morten Thing, born 1945, studied Danish language and literature at Copenhagen University and worked as an instructor at Copenhagen and Roskilde Universities. He received his doctoral degree in 1993, for his study of the relation between intellectuals and the Communist party in Denmark. From 1998-2014 he was research librarian at Roskilde University. He is the author of more than a dozen books, including De russiske jøder i København 1882-1943 (2008), a history of Russian-Jewish immigration to Denmark from 1882-1943, and Jiddish teater i København 1906-56 (2012) on the Yiddish theatre in Denmark from 1906-56.
