Report on Milwaukee County Dispensary and Emergency Hospital

Summary:

Footage of the Milwaukee County Dispensary and Emergency Hospital, located at 2430 W. Wisconsin Ave., Milwaukee, during a dispute for funds. The hospital, in service for ten years, had declined from a fully-staffed hospital to a first-aid station. John Doyn (?), the County Executive, withheld promised 1969 funds on the basis that people should be treated in a place affiliated with a general hospital. By his approximation, this would save roughly $230-250,000 per year. Others disagree, saying that it’s a matter of accessibility.
