Evansville Triplets play against the Milwaukee Brewers . . .

Summary:

Evansville Triplets play against the Milwaukee Brewers in Evansville, Indiana, in 1972 or 1973. The Brewers’ affiliation with the minor league, Triple-A baseball team occurred when Del Crandall was the Brewer’s manager, because he had formerly managed the Triplets. Evansville hosted the Triple-A baseball team, which served as a farm club for the Brewers between 1971 and 1973. Footage shows Jim Irwin interviewing club managers and ball players, like Bobby Mitchell, about the professional relationship of these major and minor leagues. All footage takes place in the Evansville stadium, showing practice and then the game between the two teams and fans packing the bleachers.
