Student works from the Chinese program were recently selected for the 2025 National Chinese EXPO of Student Works, a prestigious showcase featuring outstanding Chinese language learners from K\u201316 levels across the country. They highlight Chinese as a vital tool for international relations, diplomatic strategy, and global career opportunities, while expressing gratitude for the UWM learning community.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Genevieve Dwyer<\/strong>: Her project, \u201cKnitting Good Fortune,\u201d masterfully combined language proficiency with her personal hobby of knitting. This creative fusion of artistic expression and cultural understanding also earned Genevieve\u00a0<strong>First Place at the 2025 Midwest College Chinese Speech Contest.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>UWM Chinese Calligraphy Exhibition<\/strong>: Final projects from our Chinese Calligraphy course showcased a variety of script styles.
