Mia is the Assistant Director of the Women’s Resource Center.  In her role, she supervises the lovely WRC student staff and WGS interns as well as oversees programming and daily office operations. She's extremely passionate about creating safe spaces for students to learn intersectional feminism both with and from each other. Fun fact: When Mia went to UWM, she actually worked for the WRC as a program manager and facilitated the Feminist Ambassador Program! Mia graduated from UWM with a bachelor's in social work and a minor in psychology. Outside of the center, you’ll find her dancing, thrifting, trying new recipes, spending time with her cats, and checking places of her 2023 coffee shops list.
