The WRC proudly presents the Ambassador program this Fall.

The Ambassador Program is a 6-week long program sponsored by the Women’s Resource Center centered around feminism and to connect with other students on campus. Each week, Ambassadors will engage in discussions and activities based on feminism, debunking popular myths, and learning how to apply feminism to their everyday lives. All Ambassadors will also get a certificate upon completing the program. It’s a great leadership and development opportunity, and a great way for students to get connected to the WRC, as a few of Ambassadors have received offers to work in the WRC after their time in the program. 

Students interested in participating in the Ambassador Program should send the following to the WRC email (wmncntr@uwm.edu) by September 23: 

• An interest statement describing your desire to learn about feminism – up to 250 words written or up to 5 minutes audio recorded 
• Weekly Class schedule (Availability)
