CAB and the UWM Women’s Resource Center are inviting the campus community to celebrate Denim Day and stand in solidarity with survivors of sexual violence during the entire month of April for Sexual Assault Awareness Month (SAAM).

Starting April 1st-28th, there will be an interactive denim display in the Union Concourse, Library Commons, Sandburg Commons, and/or Cambridge Commons – students, staff/faculty and UWM community members are encouraged to write words of support and solidarity for survivors on the denim pieces.

We are also encouraging folks to wear denim on Wednesday, April 28th (Denim Day). Students can pick up a FREE Denim Day-branded clothing patch from 11AM-2PM at the four locations listed above (must be a resident in UWM Housing to enter Sandburg/Cambridge).
