Particularly, when you have kept up the mundane routine or have been burnt out from all the studying and midterms. It can be easy to lose the spark you had at the beginning of the semester, but here are some helpful tips to help you continue that spark to spring break and after!\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Set Short-Term Goals&nbsp;<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Set short attainable goals that are realistic to help you break down your responsibilities. These goals could be as simple as completing a chapter of a book you have been meaning to read. When you achieve these smaller goals, you provide yourself with a sense of accomplishment and it will keep you motivated to continue.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Do not Forget to Practice Self-Care<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You may be caught up in your assignments, projects, or exam deadlines and forget to even eat or sleep. To help alleviate that, sleep, nutrition, and staying active are going to be your best friends.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Try aiming for 7-8 hours of sleep each night and fueling your body with healthy, nutrient rich foods to keep your energy levels up.\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Stay away from fast or sugary foods.\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Consider creating a daily calendar and giving yourself periods when you complete each task.\u00a0\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If lifting weights isn\u2019t your thing, try taking a walk or even signing up for a quick yoga session at the K to stay active.\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Consider making time for your hobbies as well. Doing things that bring you joy is another method to help reduce stress.\u00a0\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Allow yourself to create plans or do activities that don\u2019t have deadlines.\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Stay Connected with Your Friends and Family&nbsp;<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Staying in touch with your friends and family can provide you with emotional support during these stressful times.\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Try organizing a study group session as it is a wonderful way to stay motivated.\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Don\u2019t forget to reach out when times are challenging. Reaching out to others could be a small reminder that you are not alone.\u00a0\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>It is easy to lose track of your progress during the semester when you\u2019re balancing school, work, assignments, and life. Especially when you are ready to relax for the upcoming spring break. With the helpful tips provided, you can stay motivated and avoid burnout!\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Celebrate your progress and the smallest achievements and do not forget to breathe.
