SHAW Medical services, including lab and dispensary, will be unavailable on Tuesday, May 20, from 8 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. for a staff in-service. The medical clinic will reopen at 1:30 p.m., and all services will be available from 1:30 p.m. - 4:30 p.m. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

Ariana Vogel, BSW

  • Counseling Intern and BASICS Facilitator
Ari is a social work student currently in the process of obtaining her master's degree from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. She grew up in a town just ten minutes south of Madison called Verona. She spent four years studying social work in Eau Claire where she earned her bachelor's degree. Ari has spent most of her working experience with kids and teenagers with a focus on behavioral issues in adolescents.
Ari has experience working with college students with substance misuse tendencies and will continue to do so in the SHAW Center as a BASICS facilitator and counselor in training. Ari has a special interest in Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, a method that supports patients in their process of identifying troublesome thoughts and creating techniques to work through these thoughts.
Outside of SHAW, Ari enjoys reading, running, and spending time with her friends, family, and French Bulldog.
