The Student Health and Wellness Center will have virtual services December 23 - 30, with the exceptions of closures on Dec. 24, 25, 31 and Jan. 1. In-person appointments will return on January 2nd.

Amanda Hanson

Amanda will be coming to SHAW from Ascension with a background in OB/L&D. She is a UWM graduate (2020) and has worked with Ascension since 2021. Her biggest passion is caring for young women and educating them about their bodies, health, and the importance of seeking care. She has worked with a very diverse population, working in a large hospital in downtown Milwaukee. She assisted with helping patients reach out to community resources when applicable for transportation services, housing/shelter, and WIC information. She is excited to bring her passion and expertise to the UWM population.
