Lisa Felknor, MSN, APNP, FNP-BC

Lisa Felknor began her career in healthcare as a nurse in the emergency department for several years before she sought higher education and completed her master’s degree in nursing at Concordia University. Lisa has worked in emergency medicine for over a decade and developed a strong foundation in diagnosing, treating, and managing disease.  Lisa has had the opportunity to work within several healthcare systems and has managed a variety of patient populations.

Lisa believes that patient education and empowerment are paramount to achieving positive health outcomes and fostering long-term wellness, especially with young college students who may be experiencing independence for the first time. Teamwork is one of her core values, and she thrives in collaborative environments that prioritize open interdisciplinary communication. Lisa believes in the power of shared knowledge and leveraging the diverse expertise of colleagues to provide the best comprehensive care to patients.

In her free time, Lisa enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, and being physically active (walking, hiking, outdoor activities).
