Monday, May 2nd

  • 6-7p  Rage Room, Cambridge Courtyard – Stop by to smash stuff and release stress at the Rage Room. Let’s Camb-Rage! Open to University Housing students and their guests.

Tuesday, May 3rd

  • 11:30a – 1p  Mindfulness in Nature, Sandburg Lobby – Learn about mindfulness and take a mindful walk in nature to collect items for your own desktop garden! Open to University Housing students and their guests.
  • Noon-1p Smoothie Bowls and Self-Compassion, Lubar Entrepreneurship Center (LEC) – Nourish and connect with yourself and peers at a well-being lunch for students hosted by the LEC in partnership with Norris Health Center. Our time together will include self-compassion practice, reflection, and supportive conversation. Free smoothie bowls for first 15 students.

Wednesday, May 4th

  • 11a – 2p Let’s Chalk about Mental Health, Spaights Plaza – Join Active Minds and Health Promotion & Advocacy to contribute to a chalk art installation designed to communicate hope and connectedness.
  • 3 – 3:45p Relaxation Yoga, Golda Meir Library Contemplative Space (E275) – Slow your day down with deep stretches and breathing exercises while exploring your mental and physical wellness. This class is meant for those trying to de-stress. Sponsored by UREC.

Thursday, May 5th

  • 11-11:30a  Mindfulness Moment (virtual) – Take a midday break to learn and try a few mindfulness practices with University Counseling Services. Register for the virtual session here.
  • 4:30-6p  Mindfulness in Nature, Cambridge Lobby – Learn about mindfulness and take a mindful walk in nature to collect items for your own desktop garden! Open to University Housing students and their guests.
  • 11a-1p  Mindfulness Jars and Crafts, Golda Meir Library Commons – Destress with mindful crafts and activities, including mindfulness jars, coloring, playdoh, origami and more!

Friday, May 6th

  • 11a-1p Rage Room, Sandburg Lawn – Stop by Sandburg Residence Hall to smash stuff and release stress at the Rage Room. Let’s Rage on! Open to University Housing students and their guests.
