The Familiar: The Art of Colorful Narratives

January 24 @ 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm

Winter Welcome logo

The Union Art Gallery invites you back to campus this spring with our first show of the semester: The Familiar: The Art of Colorful Narratives. The Familiar brings together a variation of artists who use their works to explore the many sides of our relationship to the natural world. From flowers and quiet spaces to objects we often overlook and the complex layers of the human experience; each piece invites us to see the world with fresh eyes. Working with materials like clay, glass, and paint, these artists blend familiar and unexpected perspectives, inviting us to see nature as both a source of inspiration and a mirror for our own lives. This exhibition will highlight a variety of makers including Casey Whittier, Christina Persika, Lindsey Yeager, and Nova Czarnecki.
