UWM Announces Plans to Close Waukesha Campus

Since 1966, the Lunt-Fontanne Theatre has been presenting plays on the UWM at Waukesha campus.

“Eurydice” is among the plays that UWM at Waukesha has produced.

Students as well as community members can participate in any of the shows produced in the 330-seat Lunt-Fontanne Theatre.

There are many opportunities to get involved both onstage and off (costumes, lights, sets, sound, PR). You don’t need to be a theater major to get involved, and new faces are always welcome!

A wide variety of productions, including classical work, new plays, musicals and family-oriented work, have been presented. As a college theater, the program has a primary goal of educating students. Many students have gone on to professional careers in acting, directing, playwriting, theater education and theatrical production.
