UWM Announces Plans to Close Waukesha Campus

Pop-Up Vaccine Clinic on Campus

UWM at Waukesha is partnering with Walmart to host a pop-up vaccine clinic on campus on Tuesday, September 7th from 9am to 1pm.

This will be a walk-in clinic held in the Field House and is open to faculty, staff, students, and community members.  The Pfizer vaccine will be the available vaccine and there is no cost for it. The Pfizer vaccine requires two doses, so this clinic can be used to get your second dose if you’ve already had your first or to get your first and then get your second dose elsewhere. You can find more information on vaccine clinic locations here.

The first 50 UWM students to receive their vaccination will receive UWM gear. Read more about UWM’s vaccination incentive program here.

Reasons to get vaccinated and report your vaccination to campus include:

  • No testing: Fully vaccinated students, faculty, and staff are exempted from required asymptomatic testing.
  • No quarantine: Fully vaccinated students, faculty and staff who are exposed to COVID-19 don’t need to quarantine, as long as they don’t develop symptoms and don’t test positive for COVID-19

UWM at Waukesha is located at 1500 N University Dr, Waukesha, WI 53188.
