Arts Overview

The UWM at Washington County campus is rich in cultural and artistic opportunities. From art displayed around campus to art and music classes and concerts, a wealth of opportunities exist to flex your creative and artistic muscles.

Special events include a performing artist series that brings talented musicians to our stage several times a year. The spring Festival of Arts, sponsored by the Washington County Campus Foundation, gathers top artwork from middle and high schools across the region, along with professional art for sale. A variety of performances and workshops also take place throughout the day.

In addition, Continuing Education provides a variety of cultural opportunities, such as museum and theater excursions. Non-credit classes include art, photography and ceramics, which uses the wood-fired kiln at the UWM at Waukesha Field Station.
