On a clear day, UWM’s new Chemistry Building glistens in the sun. Since opening its doors in fall 2024, the four-story, 163,400-square-foot facility has been a hub for UWM’s STEM departments, helping prepare students for fast-growing fields like medicine, genetic engineering, toxicology, nanoscience and more. Boasting spacious lecture halls, instructional laboratories and active research spaces, this state-of-the-art facility is a perfect home for the 3,500+ students who take chemistry and biochemistry classes each year.
