Group X

Our fun and effective group fitness classes, led by highly trained instructors are geared for participants of all fitness levels. We offer Yoga, Group Cycle, Guts & Butts, Group Strength, HIIT and more, all free for UWM Students and UREC Members.

Registration is required to attend Group Cycle classes. Registration is recommended (but not required for other classes, but space is available on a first-come, first-served basis. Registration opens 7 days prior to each class. Register here or in the UWM UREC App. If you register and can no longer attend a class, please cancel your registration to allow someone else to take your spot. Cancelation is allowed up to 2-hours prior to class. Late cancel/no-shows will be assessed a fee.

How to cancel your registration

Cancel online:

  • Log into
  • click username in the upper right-hand corner and select “Profile”
  • On the left-hand side, select “Programs”, then click “Registrations”
  • Find the class that you want to drop, click the three dots, then click “Cancel”
  • Click “Yes, Cancel Registration”
