The UWM Union Event Services department strives to provide all users of the event space of the UWM Union the most up to date technology available. Union Event Services looks to continually upgrade technology kept in-house, as well as working to maintain relationships with local vendors to supplement event technology.

UWM Union Event Services employs a full time Media Technician to oversee the Audio Visual department. This individual oversees a staff of six to eight student technicians that operate all equipment of the department, ranging in size and complexity from a flat-screen television to a full concert sound and lighting system.

Though Union Event Services does not provide any equipment to events held outside the UWM Union, the Media Technician is available to consult on all events housed in the UWM Union. For questions regarding the availability of technology, please contact Sam Sirna at 414-229-5333 or ssirna@uwm.edu.
