This code is specific to each student. There will be a support table available for students who are having difficulty locating their QR code. Students will receive a UWM string bag to keep and utilize to carry any materials collected throughout the day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5 id=\"h-welcome-various-locations-15-minutes\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">Welcome | Various Locations | 15 minutes<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Orientation and Transition Leaders will lead a review of the schedule, community-building activities, Q&amp;A, and setting expectations with the group.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div id=\"tab-74ez-campus-exploration-tour\" class=\"uwm-p-tabcontent--pane\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" id=\"h-various-locations-and-varying-times-throughout-the-day-students-will-visit-the-following-support-services-3-5-minutes-at-each-stop\">Various Locations and varying times throughout the day<br>Students will visit the following support services, 3 &#8211; 5 minutes at each stop:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Accessibility Resource Center&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Center for International Education&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Student Experience &amp; Talent&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Golda Meir Library&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Centers for Advocacy and Student Engagement&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Off-Campus Resource&nbsp;Center&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Student Involvement&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Dean of Students&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Food Pantry&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Gasthaus and Rec Center&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Klotsche Center&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Student Health &amp; Wellness Center&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Nalox-Zone Location&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>UWM Police&nbsp;Department<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Student Financial Service Center &nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Transportation Services&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Student Success Center&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Office of Undergraduate Research&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Multicultural Student Centers&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>UW Credit Union&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>UWM Fountain &#8211; Coin Toss<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div id=\"tab-74ez-sessions\" class=\"uwm-p-tabcontent--pane\">\n<h5 id=\"h-wellness-and-safety-student-union-1-hour\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">Wellness and Safety | Student Union | 1 hour<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Student Health and Wellness staff with the UWM Police Department will facilitate an interactive session on the important topics of overdose, mental health and sexual and relationship violence.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5 id=\"h-workshops-various-locations-20-30-minutes-each\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">Workshops | Various Locations | 20 &#8211; 30 minutes each<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Four sessions developed with the Student Success Center and Center for Excellence in Teaching &amp; Learning will be facilitated by Orientation and Transition Leaders in classrooms and computer labs across campus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Time management<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Understanding a Syllabus &amp; Academic Support<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Educational Technology<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>First-Day of School Essentials<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h5 id=\"h-closing-various-locations-10-minutes\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">Closing | Various Locations | 10 minutes<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Orientation and Transition Leaders will take final attendance, address questions, and share important reminders with students before completing the program.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div id=\"tab-74ez-lunch\" class=\"uwm-p-tabcontent--pane\">\n<h5 id=\"h-various-locations-1-hour-between-11-a-m-and-2-p-m\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">Various Locations | 1 hour between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m.<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On Wednesday, Friday and Monday, students should plan to utilize their residential dining meal plan or other means to cover the cost of their own lunch. On Wednesday, all students will eat lunch in the Union, and on Friday or Monday, students will be assigned to Sandburg or the Union to each lunch with their assigned group.
