I was born in Davenport, Iowa, where I was raised in a loving and multicultural family. As a child, I would spend my summers living with my grandmother in Monterrey, Mexico, which cultivated my love for the culture and the language. I enjoyed many extracurricular activities growing up, including basketball, tennis and Spanish Club.

Basketball played an important role in my life. I started playing in the second grade and continued throughout college. Basketball provided me with many opportunities and taught me countless lessons. After college, I held various coaching positions at the AAU, high school and collegiate level. I enjoy interacting with young student athletes and sharing my love of the game. If you have any questions about balancing extracurricular and academics, I’m your girl.

Prior to joining UW-Milwaukee, I worked in residential life. I discovered a passion for higher education and making it attainable for all students. I am excited to be here at UWM. I look forward to showing you why it’s a great place to begin your future.
