The inauguration of Chancellor Thomas Gibson on Friday, Sept. 25, will affect traffic and transit stops along Kenwood Boulevard.<\/p>\n

From approximately noon-1:30 p.m., Kenwood Boulevard will be closed to vehicles between Downer and Farwell avenues. In addition, UWM Lot 9 Zelazo will be closed until 4 p.m. on Friday.<\/p>\n

Milwaukee County Transit System bus service on Kenwood Boulevard will be affected during the event, including Routes 21, 30, 40U, 44U, 66, 68 and the RedLine. Find detour updates at RideMCTS.com\/Alerts<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Between noon and 1:30 p.m., vehicles will not be allowed to enter the Union Garage or Lot 13 Mellencamp. Vehicles exiting either facility from noon-1:30 p.m. will require police assistance and should expect delays of 20-30 minutes.<\/p>\n

If you have to leave a parking facility during the event time, we strongly recommend that you park in other parking areas around campus. Find parking spots with\u00a0UWM\u2019s parking finder<\/a>.<\/p>\n
