You must be currently enrolled in classes at the UWM Main campus or be paying the U-PASS portion of segregated fees <\/a>to qualify for a U-PASS.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
All of these steps require access to a computer or a smart phone for sign up. Transportation Services is unable to complete the sign up on the behalf of the user. When asked to create an account, please use your UWM.EDU email address. If you use your personal email address (@gmail, @outlook, etc.), your benefit code may not work since it is meant to be used with a UWM email.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\n\nPlease note: You must have cellular or wifi service to download the app and redeem the benefit code. You do NOT need a cellular data plan or wifi to use the QR code.<\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\nTo set up your UMO app to use your U-PASS or CVP, please do the following:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

- Download the UMO Mobility app for your iOS <\/a>or Android <\/a>device.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
- First time users only: go through the steps to set up the app (such as location settings). When asked, select the location <\/a>of WisGo<\/strong>, MCTS – Milwaukee County Transit System<\/strong>, or Milwaukee – Waukesha, WI <\/strong>as the transit agency. The exact name may vary based on the device.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
- Click the menu icon (hamburger) <\/a><\/strong>in the top right of the screen to access settings.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
- At the first option on the menu, you may see one of two options: (1) My Account <\/a><\/strong>or (2) Sign in or Join<\/a><\/strong>. Create an account if you do not have one. It should be tied to UWM.edu email account.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n
- Click the menu icon (hamburger) <\/a><\/strong>in the top right of the screen to access settings.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
- Click Redeem Benefit <\/a><\/strong>(third option in the menu).<\/li>\n\n\n\n
- Enter the Benefit Code <\/a><\/strong>(minus the MCTS prefix).<\/li>\n\n\n\n
- Click Continue<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
- It will show up as successful – if not, check out our Troubleshooting guide<\/a>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
- Go to your homepage, you will now see a Validation Code <\/a><\/strong>(a QR code) listed under My Wallet<\/strong>. You will scan that QR code against the farebox to ride the bus.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

- Go to touchpass.com<\/a>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
- Click the Create Account <\/a><\/strong>button.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
- Click Register a Card<\/a><\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
- Enter the Card Number <\/a><\/strong>as shown on the back of the card, and click Next<\/a><\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
- Complete the Create Your Account <\/a><\/strong>steps. Fill in a Username<\/strong>, Password<\/strong>, your UWM.edu Email Address <\/strong>and (optional field) a Mobile Phone Number<\/strong>. Click to check and accept the Terms & Conditions<\/strong>, then Save<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
- After creating your account, it defaults to the My Wallet <\/strong>page. On this page, click Buy <\/a><\/strong>to redeem your benefit code.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
