COVID-19’s Effect on Parking at UWM (Effective 12 PM on 3/18/20)

Thank you for contacting UWM Transportation Services. Due to the COVID pandemic, our offices are closed. We are responding to all requests remotely, and our response will be delayed.

Attention Employees with Payroll Deductions

All parking and bus pass payroll deductions will be automatically stopped after the March deductions, and your parking contract concludes on March 31, 2020. If you want to continue your bus permit, please contact Transportation Services – uwmpark@uwm.edu.

Refunds

Parking paid in advance

We are not refunding monthly permits that have been valid for more than ten days.

Semester and annual permits

We are refunding prorated balances back to your credit card upon request. Payments made with a check or cash will be refunded through a check. Due to high volume, it can take up to 8 weeks before your refund is received.

  • If you would like to cancel a paid permit (excludes payroll deduction), please use our Permit Cancellation Request Form
  • If your payment was made online and it has been over 6 months or your payment was made at our office, we will need to contact you and schedule a time to manually process the refund.
  • We will refund any overpayments made through payroll deduction, and it will be issued through payroll in the next eight weeks.
  • All other refund requests will be reviewed for eligibility.
