Validating Tickets
There are two methods of validating tickets in Amano ONE. The first method is to add the validation to the ticket via the validation portal. This is often called an online validation. The second method is to give the patron a printed validation.
Scan a Ticket with Online Validation- Log into Amano ONE.
- Navigate to the Validate tab.
- Enable desktop camera if preferred: If your desktop is equipped with a video device, you can click on SCAN FOR CODE to enable the camera. You will be prompted to Allow the camera to be used on the browser.
- Scan the garage ticket if desktop camera is enabled: Once enabled, you will now be able to scan the QR coded tickets using the desktop camera.
- Apply a validation to the ticket: Once the ticket is found, you will be able to click the dropdown menu to APPLY a validation. You also have the ability to remove the validation on a ticket if necessary.
- Confirm guest departure: Once the validation is applied, you can instruct the parker to exit with the validated ticket.
- Log into Amano ONE.
- Navigate to the Validate tab.
- Find the ticket if desktop camera is not enabled: If no camera is available, simply type in the ticket number (GUID) in the search bar to find the ticket.
- Apply a validation to the ticket: Once the ticket is found, you will be able to click the dropdown menu to APPLY a validation. You also have the ability to remove the validation on a ticket if necessary.

You can use this process to generate a QR code that can be used to validate a ticket.

How to Use QR Code Validations
- The guest will pull an entry ticket at the entrance of the garage to lift the gate (A). Do not lose this entry ticket. You will need it to exit.
- At the event, the guest will receive a validation QR code from the event coordinator. These may come in a sticker format and can be placed on the back of your entry ticket.
- At the garage exit, the guest will scan the front of their pulled entry ticket on the reader (B) for fee calculation and then the guest will scan their validation QR code on the reader (B) again to pay for the parking. QR code validations can be printed on a sticker and attached to the back of the ticket for the convenience of the customer. Otherwise, it can be printed separately and handed to customers.
- For any assistance, the guest should press the help button (C).
