The German Opportunities Fair was held at UWM on September 26. Four distinguished guests, including two TIS alums, shared their personal and professional experiences with Germany and the German language during the business panel.

James Doing (M.A. German-English Translation, 2016) gave an interesting presentation about his work as a freelance German-English translator, specializing in the translation of marketing and legal texts, as well as historical documents related to German-American history.

Geneva Scurek (M.A. German-English Translation, 2012) gave an engaging talk about her work as Senior Manager for the Apprenticeship Exams and Certification at the German-American Chamber of Commerce.
