The UWM TechStore will be closing on Sunday, June 30, 2024. Retail operations have stopped and there will no longer be a retail location in the UWM Student Union.
UWM TechStore staff and their IT colleagues across campus are currently working on transitional plans for processes or essential services the UWM TechStore may have managed. We ask for your patience with this process and will communicate those changes as we progress through the transition project. Departmental technology purchases will continue to be processed through IT Purchasing as usual.
The UWM TechStore has provided over 15 years of service to the UWM community, and this difficult decision is part of budgetary changes. This is occurring alongside the recent changes to the UWM PantherShop and the new vendor, Follett Higher Education.
