Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition (OBIEE) is a reporting tool purchased by the UW System. The platform focuses on self-service reporting and shared dashboards which will allow more campus units to obtain data and answer business questions. Dashboards are available for accessing both HR data and UWM student data.

This application can be accessed using UW-Milwaukee’s Single Sign-On Service.
Employee access granted
Access to UWM student data reports is requested via the Data Access Request form. The FERPA test must be passed before requests can be submitted. Complete instructions on submitting requests and accessing OBIEE can be found here.
Access to HR data is requested via the UW System OIM application. More information about the process and available roles can be found on the UW System UWBI Getting Started with HRS Data site.
Employees working off campus must be connected to the Global Protect VPN in order to access OBIEE. Please consult the UWM KB for instructions on installing and connecting to the VPN.
Employee service discontinuation
Access to this service is removed when an individual is no longer employed by UWM or when removal is requested by their supervisor.
Two maintenance windows are scheduled between 5-7am every Tuesday and Thursday each week, during which times the service may be unavailable.
Scheduled or Unplanned Outages
Information about other scheduled or unplanned outages will be communicated to service users by the Enterprise Data Management team.
