The Tidal IT Job Scheduling service schedules daily, weekly, monthly and ad hoc batch processing jobs (i.e., sending and retrieving files) for PAWS and other external systems. These processes are performed utilizing the Tidal software application. In addition to scheduling, administrators use Tidal to synchronize jobs and manage dependencies.
Service InformationService Access
Access to this service is currently limited to technical staff in UITS and Financial Aid. However, staff may request new jobs, changes to existing jobs (time, frequency, etc.), or discontinuation of existing jobs by emailing email@example.com or submitting the PAWS Help Form.
This service is available 24/7 except during scheduled maintenance periods and unscheduled outages. For information about timeframes when service is unavailable, visit uwm.edu/gettechhelp.
Scheduled Maintenance Window
The defined standing maintenance windows for this service are Wednesdays 4:30 a.m. to 6 a.m. and Sundays 8 a.m. to noon.
