- Setup of supported standard University hardware and software
- Connect to network, printers, monitors, peripherals, and other accessories
- Move user data
Troubleshooting, Replacement, and Updates
- Troubleshoot and resolve problems
- Provide best effort support for standard University applications
- Repair defective equipment under warranty
- Perform regular Windows/Apple OS and standard software updates
Security and Disposal
- Implement and manage security setups for confidential data
- Install antivirus and antispyware solutions and perform breach cleanups
- Provide encryption solutions for supported laptops and desktops
- Secure disposal of hard drives and other hardware
Service Information
Service AccessThis service is available to all users of UWM-owned computers. These computers are assets of UWM and are managed by UWM IT staff. The services are only available for the UWM-managed computers and not for personally-owned devices.
Service is available Monday through Friday, 7:45 AM to 4:30 PM, except on official University holidays.
