The university regularly closes inactive UWM accounts. After closing an inactive account, any data associated with it such as emails, calendar entries, and OneDrive files are deleted.
What do I do if a file I regularly use gets deleted during this process?
UWM IT can usually recover deleted files for up to 90 days after deletion. If you need access to files that were deleted because a former colleague’s account was closed, please contact the UWM Help Desk to determine if it can be recovered.
