The position begins with a starting wage of $11\/hour. Applicants must have a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or better, two semesters of coursework, and a desire to assist peers during their first year at UWM. Peer Mentors are students of leadership, academic skills, and campus knowledge.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading heading-separator uwm-u-mt-0\" id=\"h-qualifications\">Qualifications<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Must have completed at least two semesters at the undergraduate level (or an accumulation of 24 university-level credits).&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Must maintain good academic standing, minimum 2.5 GPA for applicant consideration.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Must be available to attend all training sessions before the Fall &amp; Spring semesters.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Must possess initiative, responsibility, and good judgement as well as the ability to work. independently with little to no supervision while performing a variety of tasks.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div><\/section>\n\n\n\n<section class=\"uwm-bg-white uwm-u-pb-80 uwm-u-pt-0\"><div class=\"uwm-l-container--base uwm-l-container--overflow-hidden\">\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-align-center heading-separator uwm-u-text--center\" id=\"h-complete-our-peer-mentor-application\">Complete Our Peer Mentor Application<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Peer Mentor Application is closed!
