Isa was born in El Paso, Texas but was raised primarily in southeastern Wisconsin. Eventually, she would go off to UW-Madison for her undergraduate degree in Theater Studies. She then worked in various roles in the Madison area until deciding to return back to school for her Master’s degree in Higher Education Leadership at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater. Isabella received her Master’s Degree in 2019. Isa lives in the Milwaukee area with her husband, her son and three cats.

In her role as Student Success Coach for the MKE Scholars program, Isa’s primary focus is to support students through their college experience and the required Summer Bridge program. The MKE Scholars program is open to students who have participated in the following Burke Foundation-funded programs: Boys & Girls Club of Milwaukee, Boys & Girls Club of Dane County, Carmen High School of Science & Technology, College Possible, Cristo Rey Jesuit School, Nativity Jesuit Middle School, PEARLS for Teen Girls, St. Joan Antida High School, and United Community Center.
