Hailing from Appleton, WI, Amanda started her journey in higher education at Illinois State University in Normal, IL where she earned a double Bachelor of Arts degree in both Spanish and Music. She continued her education at Illinois State, graduating with her Master of Science in College Student Personnel Administration in May of 2019. Prior to joining the Student Success Center team, Amanda worked in Student Activities and Leadership Programs at Illinois Wesleyan University, as a NODA intern for Parent and Family, and Transfer Orientation programs at Dominican University, and for the University Program Board within Student Activities and Involvement at Illinois State University. Now as the Peer Mentor Program Specialist at UWM, Amanda will be overseeing the Peer Mentor Program, as well as the Peer Mentor student staff and Coaches.  Amanda is excited for the opportunity to serve the UWM community in this capacity, and looks forward to connecting with students through the Peer Mentor Program and beyond!
