New Student Programs
Catie Kocian (she/her/hers) attended Ohio Wesleyan University where she earned her B.A. in music. After gaining experience in admission and campus activities, she went to Michigan State University to earn an M.A. in Student Affairs Administration. As the Transition Coordinator, Catie coordinates large-scale welcome programs including Panther Academic Welcome (PAW) and Transfer and Adult Welcome Day (TAWD), as well as orientation programs including Transfer and Adult Student Orientation (TASO), and Parent and Family Orientation. Catie is committed to supporting the success of diverse students as they join the UWM community.
