56 Things to Do Before You Graduate<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee was founded in 1956, and the UWM Bucket List was created in 2012, exactly 56 years later. 56 items on the list seems fitting, don’t you think?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Make your UWM experience an adventure by exploring everything UWM and Milwaukee have to offer, from campus life to local favorites.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Complete all 56 items on the list, and bring your photos, ticket stubs, and other memorabilia to Student Involvement to receive an “I Completed the UWM Bucket List” T-shirt!<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

  1. Attend a Fall Welcome<\/a> event to kick off the academic year.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Stargaze at the UWM Manfred Olson Planetarium.<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. Volunteer at Make a Difference Day<\/a> or the MLK Jr. Day of Service.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  4. Get your photo taken with Pounce<\/a>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  5. Join one of UWM’s 300+ student organizations.<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n
  6. Attend the Distinguished Lecture Series.<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n
  7. Visit the Milwaukee County Zoo<\/a> and its 3,000 animals.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  8. Soak up the sun on Spaights Plaza.<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n
  9. Vote for your student leaders in the Student Association<\/a> election.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  10. Check out the Milwaukee Art Museum<\/a>, it’s free the first Thursday of the month.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  11. Take a trip with Outdoor Pursuits<\/a>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  12. Eat at Oakland Gyros<\/a>, an East Side landmark.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  13. Participate in or volunteer at the Panther Prowl<\/a>, UWM’s annual 5K run\/walk.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  14. Sit in a sunburst chair and enjoy the view at Colectivo Coffee Lakefront.<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n
  15. Close your eyes in the Fireside Lounge<\/a>, known as UWM’s quietest nap spot.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  16. Attend the Campus Activities Board’s annual comedy show<\/a>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  17. Enroll in a fitness class, or use the facilities at the Klotsche Center.<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n
  18. Witness the cross-town rivalry at a UWM vs. Marquette<\/a> soccer or basketball game.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  19. Participate in the UWM Homecoming Campus Cornhole Championship!<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  20. Visit Milwaukee’s Black Cat Mural Alley<\/a> and take a picture.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  21. Grab a slice at Ian’s Pizza<\/a> on North Avenue.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  22. Play a game of volleyball or catch some rays at Bradford Beach<\/a>, Milwaukee’s largest public beach.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  23. Cheer on the Milwaukee Panthers men’s basketball team<\/a> at the UW-Milwaukee Panther Arena.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  24. Attend a competition for one of the 14 other Panther varsity athletic teams.<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n
  25. Eat some popcorn and catch a movie at the Union Cinema<\/a>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n

  30. Challenge friends to bowling, billiards, or ping pong at the Union Rec Center<\/a>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  31. Attend Jazz in the Park<\/a>, Milwaukee’s favorite free outdoor, summer music series.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  32. Eat lunch by the fountain outside of Curtin Hall<\/a>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  33. Root for the Milwaukee Brewers<\/a> at Miller Park.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  34. Take a ride with Be On the Safe Side (BOSS)<\/a>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  35. Develop your skills by attending a Leadership Program<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n
  36. Listen to our share your own spoken word poetry at Lyrical Sanctuary<\/a>, UWM’s monthly open mic night.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
