John Contreras is the Manager for Sociocultural Programming within Student Involvement. In his role he works with campus partners to create meaningful and powerful cultural events to enhance the campus community. Ranging and not limited to Latinx Heritage Month, Black History Month, Asian American Pacific Islander Heritage Month, and many more observances, John connects with appropriate campus partners to bring campus events to life.

John has worked within Student Affairs since 2016 and continues to connect with students with the numerous interests and hobbies he has. He enjoys playing video games and watching anime in his spare time. He also has an interest in writing poetry.
