Los Angeles native, a poet, and a filmmaker, Jamai Fisher seeks to walk in God’s purpose by making hard conversations easy through storytelling. While touring around the country with Sofar Sounds, Jamai published her first poetry book titled “I definitely thought this was called a chatbook: A book of poems and the stories that inspired them.” Jamai continues to strive to bring her passion of filmmaking, poetry, and the black experience into everything she does.
