Lyrical Sanctuary is UWM’s monthly open mic night, featuring standout spoken word artists, music, art, and YOU!
In celebration of Latinx Heritage Month, this month’s featured artist is Christopher Soto! A Brooklyn based Latinx poet and activist whose work speaks about social justice surrounding people of color and the LGBTQIA+ community. He is the author of “Sad Girl Poems” and editor of “Nepantla: An Anthology Dedicated to Queer Poets of Color.”
