First Year Experience

The First Year Program in Art and Design at UWM’s Peck School of the Arts has long prepared students to be creative, engaged, and ready to advance in their chosen fields. The first year marks a period of artistic and personal growth, where students select their areas of concentration and begin to envision themselves as practitioners in their discipline. The Union Art Gallery’s First Year Exhibition has provided these students with the opportunity to showcase the work they created during this transformative process.
