‘When I began the diary, I bought five rolls of film. I thought I’d film myself, one scene every day, moving around my apartment…Five rolls of film – it wasn’t enough.’–ACR
Spanning 16 years (1981-1997), and over thirty-eight hours of Super 8, Anne Charlotte Robertson’s Five Year Diary is a crucial work of diaristic filmmaking.
