Knitting & Crocheting Circle

Date: Every other Tuesday beginning January 30 
Time: 4-6p 
Join a community of knitters and crocheters and learn something new! All levels welcomed, just bring some yarn and some needles and a desire to learn. Knitting needles and yarn are also available for purchase at the SACC.

Zine Circle

Date: Every other Thursday beginning February 1 
Time: 3-4:30p 
Come learn the basics of zine-making at the SACC! Free materials are available with student membership & copies can be made at a discounted price.

SACC Take and Make

Date: Tuesday, January 23 
Time: 11a-2p 
Make & take a small project from each of our five areas (photo, metals, print, fibers, & ceramics) in the Union Concourse — including a pinch pot from our semesterly ‘Make a Pot, Take a Pot’.

Artist Fair & Bake Sale

Date: Thursday, February 8 
Time: 10a – 4p 
Swing by the Union Concourse to browse through handmade art including prints, jewelry, mugs, embroideries, & more—just in time for Valentine’s DayGrab a treat from the student org bake sale while you browse the art.

Mardi Gras Celebration

Make your very own colorful and personalized Mardi Gras mask at our table located at the Mardi Gras Celebration in the UWM Union Ballroom. While you’re there, enjoy free food, entertainment, & festivities!

Open Radical Jewelry Makeover Workshops

Dates & Times: Sunday, February 25, 1-3p & Thursday, March 29, 6-8p 
Join us for either or both of these workshops where you can work on creating a repurposed jewelry creation of your own. Come with a little or no experience and work alongside other creators in the Studio Arts & Craft Centre. There is no fee to participate in these workshops and supplies and equipment are available for free, though you may purchase additional materials from the SACC’s sales items

Open Photo Workshop: Cameras Through the Ages

Time: 6-7:30p 
Come to the SACC for this free and open workshop where you can check out different types of camera that have been used since photography has been invented. You will be able to see how they work and what film they take!

Build Your Own Terrarium

Date: Tuesday, April 17 
Time: 11:00a- 2:00p or until supplies run out 
Join us in the Union Concourse to learn and make your own terrarium. Supplies are limited, so arrive early!

Open Photo Workshop: Developing Film

Drop by this free and open workshop to learn how to develop a roll of black & white film in our dark room.

Make A Brooch: An RJM Event
