Accessibility Resource Center (ARC)

Mitchell Hall 112

The Accessibility Resource Center (ARC) provides services and accommodations to students with disabilities to ensure equal access to the University’s academic programs and activities. Academic accommodations may include testing accommodations, note taker services, alternative textbook services (e.g., books on tape, electronic text, Braille text), interpreters, captionists, assistive technology counseling and equipment, and supportive counseling. The Accessibility Resource Center assists students with advocacy, accessibility and on-campus housing accommodations. The Center is also a resource for disability and accommodation information for faculty and staff. However, the Center does not provide disability evaluation and/or testing, personal services, attendants, or transportation.  In order to ensure timely provision of services, students must provide the Accessibility Resource Center with the appropriate disability documentation and specific accommodation requests well in advance.
