If you’re uninsured or have trouble paying for healthcare, Ascension may be able to help through Ascension’s financial partnerships and resources.

Norris Health Center and University Counseling Services

Current Services:

  • Medical Services
    • Medical services will continue in-person services to students largely focusing on COVID-19 at this time.
    • Patients scheduled for routine appointments will be contacted by Wednesday March 18 to reschedule.
    • Norris Health Center dispensary will be open at this time.
    • All students must call in advance (414) 229-4716 for any services, as this is a rapidly evolving situation and in-person services may change.
  • Counseling Services 
    • University Counseling will not be open for in-person services starting Wednesday March 18.
    • Clients that have upcoming scheduled visits will be contacted for alternative options as soon as possible.
    • Phone lines (414) 229-4133 will remain open during regular business hours.
    • For mental health crises M-F during regular business hours call 414-229-4133 for a crisis consultation. For after hours-crisis assistance use these resources.
  • Survivor Support and Victim Advocacy
    • Victim advocacy services will not be open for in-person services as of Wednesday March 18.
    • Students can call 414-229-4582 or email victimadvocacy@uwm.edu for assistance.
